2004 With so many of LCYC down on the Sir Francis Drake Channel sailing in light breezes, only three boats dared to sail in the blowing and shifty winds of the Sir Joe Pool Lake.... Jim Monroe had so much fun last week that he went out again, as did Keith Ford and his hired "Gun Slingers".... Jim and I each sailed with jib only but Keith had sooo much rail meat that he was able to go with a reefed main and a jib..... Needless to say that Keith's boat "Happy Ours" had the best time relative to the target time, 104%... His time was 100min:45sec................. Jim sailed 167min for a %=111.....Gus had 121.5min for 140% and last place...........Keith wins the $6.00 pot...................Thanks, Gus..... p.s. The food was great at the Party Mark gathering afterwards....
