Nite Lo Stress Series Results
This is the perfect opportunity for non-racers and
potential racers to get their feet wet and see how their boat
speed stacks up against others without the stress of formal
races. See
details under Racing Calendar link.
Season Statistics:
21
different boats participated in 28 races to the south bridge
and back.... There were 11 different winners... $235.00 prize
money was shared...
Bob Ingle recorded times
in 15 races and won 9 of them collecting $95.00.... Keith Ford
recorded 5 times and won 3 earning $24.00....
Butch won both races that
he entered and took home $22.00... Mario entered 13 races and
won 2 for $13.00... EJ Tews won 2 races and $16.00....
Glyn Buckley and Craig
Rowland each won a $16.00 race......... Dan Brown
won a $12.00 race.............. Chris Bane won
$10.00....Spencer Farrington won $3.00.....the fast boat and
the thin purse.!!
Fastest trip time was
Spencer Farrington in his J-27 @ 81.85 min.... Second fastest
was Gus in his Laser-28 @ 85 min...
Largest boat was the
Halberg-Rassey of Butch Wineberg @ 34ft... and the smallest
was the Venture-17 of Evan Casey's............
Guess the facts bear out
the fact that Bob Ingle is the Champion of the Lo-Stress.racing.....
He has a "Target Time" that is the result of the
collected data from many of the 59 races, so that he does not
have a favorable rating----he must be a better sailor !!!!!
If we do this again next
year it will be the 5th year for Lo-Stress and it is based on
2 l/2 years using the same course to the bridge and
back................
THANKS,
GUS
October 29 results:
With
the south winds forcast as 15 - 25 mph ,five boats were out
cavorting in gusts that must have been in the 30's.... Encanto
took off under a reduced main and jib, and Hewitt sailed under
a 135% genoa only.... Cam Marcus was first seen sailing back
toward the marina with the main and jib reefed but was later
seen headed to the bridge under the 150% genoa only... One
other boat (Cat-28) was sailing under a reefed main only...
Hewitt passed the early starters on the way to the bridge
because they were being over powered and had trouble
pointing.... While looking back towards the competition we saw
a lovely 360 degree "round-up and out" by Cam's S-2
7.9 at Estes Point... The Aguirre's thought Cam was doing a
penalty turn for hitting a marker buoy or something.... Later,
as Cam was nearing the bridge, he was observed to be doing
"doughnuts" again.... It looked like a "1 1/2
in the tuck position " and a score of 7.2 score.... The
ride downwind from the bridge was mild and slow due to the
wind moderating.... Bob Ingle was seen on the far side (Cedar
Hill) heading toward the bridge under full sail and was fast
enough to take first place with 103 min (103%).... Mario had
115 min and a % of 115 and Hewitt sailed it in 109.45 min at
115% performance for a tie for second place... The other boats
"did not enter" but provided entertainment... I
think Cam must have suffered from the "Sun Storm "
or the "Corriolus Effect" since all his roundups
were to Starboard while heading in a direcrion of 90 degrees
magnetic.... We had $6.00 from last weeks race and have $4.00
from last night for a total of $10.00 which "Queenie"
and l suggest we donate to the LCYC general fund.... OK
???.....Good Sail ................................GUS
October 22 results:
Last
night the stouthearted racers took off in what was scheduled
to be the last race of the year.... However, some boats got to
the bridge when the lake turned to glass, some boats motored
back, and some boats ran out of gas within a mile of the
docks.... Three boats paid their entry but all 3 were DNF: the
Aguirre's, Cam Marcus and Dan Brown.... However, even though
Daylight Savings time goes out on Sunday the 26th, we should
have a proper FINAL RACE and try again on Wed the 29th...
Hewitt must have brought a Voodoo hex to shut the wind off at
dark.... Fast Forward will have to get the running lights
working for next Wed... Lets get everyone to come out and sail
and have a big fleet ................ The $6.00 will be a
carryover for the 3 boats that paid........ GUS

Four boats signed up and invested their hard earned cash...
Fast Forward took off after Encanto and Bodacious who were
working to keep their speed up.... The wind had been rather
good around 3 pm but by 5 it was on the wane... We had sailed
down to the south bridge and were headed home when we saw
several more boats headed south.... Happy Ours and Starlite
Express were sailing rather slow and then we saw Spencer
in his J-27 following along with a crew of 2 grandchildren on
board.... At about this time our speed had dropped to 0.8kts
and l decided to DNF and started the diesel .... Spencer did
the same, powered back to the dock, that is.... Only the
Aguirre's and Ford recorded finish times .. Gus entered DNF
and Steve Raye l guess did too, since he did not record any
time..... Ford's time of 182 min gave him a 1.844% and second
place went to Mario with a time of 219 min for 2.192% ....The
POT of $8.00 goes to Keith.... The two finishing boats are to
be commended for enduring a 3 hour trip over a race course
that has seen each of them cover in 90+min..... THANKS--- Gus

Only three boat signed up for the race last nite.... The
weather was mild and cloudy, without rain or much breeze...
However, Bob Ingle sailed the 8.33 mi. in just over two
hours... and Evan Casey covered it in a little over 3
Hours.... The 135min of Bob's gives a performance of 1.35%...
Aguirre's time of 183min gives 1.83%.... and Evan's time of
192min gives 1.536%.... The $6.00 pot is Bob's, he said
figuratively....... Since daylight savings time is nearing an
end, there are only three more Lo-Stress races scheduled ...
Get out and get involved, it really is a good excuse to go
sailing.................. GUS

The evening was cool, with a nice wind and a beautiful
sunset.... You should have been there! Butch took off first in
his 34 ft "palace" followed by Spencer Farrington
sailing his J-27 single handed.... Then Mario and Bob Ingle
headed down to the point... Keith Ford beat us out of the slip
as we were waiting for our last crew member to arrive.... By
the time Fast Forward got to Estes Pt. Spencer and Butch were
a few boat lengths apart and about to round the Point for
home...... Butch had the fast time of 93.8min and took first
place with a performance of 1.009%.. Keith at 102min was
second at 1.033%... Ingle at 105min had 1.051%... Aguirre's
were in at 107min for 1.07%............ Gus had the second
fastest time of 99.25 min but a performance of 1.143% due to a
low Tgt Time........... (If Spencer had a time of less than
85.5 min he would have won but did not put any $$$ in the pot).........
Butch wins the $10.00 pot and he won it last Wed too....
Was Cam really steering??

It seems that each night that we sail is a nicer one than the
last..... Perfect temp. wind and sky.... Sunset was
outstanding........ We had 6 boats signed up to race but there
were about 3 others from LCYC out there as well as a few from
the other Marina across the lake............. Fast Forward
sailed the quick time of 92min and Butch Wineberg did 96 min
in his 34ft. Halberg -Rassey..... The slowest time was a
Catalina 30 at 139.85 min........... Butch wins the $12.00 pot
with a performance of 1.0323%..... Bob Ingle's time, sailing
the smallest boat (SJ-24), gave him 2nd place at 1.0410%,
followed by Gus at 1.0455%...... Steve Raye had 1.0459% and
Dan Brown had 1.0508%... Jim Atkinson had 1.1188% but really
did not officially race since he did not start by crossing
the starting line.... (the starting line, and the finish line,
is between the Rock Breakwater and the western most "No
Wake " buoy)......... Those of you sailors who are not
enjoying these early fall evenings are missing out on some
great sailing......... Come out next Wed .......... GUS

Last night while waiting for the weather to make up it's
mind... we heard thunder, saw lightning, saw rain, saw a
rainbow and observed a 90 degree wind shift and whitecaps. Cam
Marcus and Spencer Farrington were the first two boats to head
out and Steve Raye, the Aguirres and the Gustafsons
followed...... At Estes Point , Rag Doll and the J-27
were heading north and Gus was heading south..... Cam did not
put any money in the pot but instead was hauling passengers...
(crew members from T-N-T, Amazing Grace, and
Yachta-Yachta-Yachta) for ballast I think.... All the racers
recorded their fastest trip times ever....Spencer had the
quickest time of 81.85 min.... Gus was next with a time of 85
min... Steve Raye was 94 min. and the Aguirres had a time of
95 min.... Because the wind was great all of the boats lowered
their Target Times.... Steve took the $8.00 pot with a
.817% of Tgt. ... Farrington was second at .89%... Mario had
.925% for third .... and Gus was at .926%........ Gus sailed
his new Doyle sails and was able to tack tighter than 90
degrees---that was a first---.since the old sails tacked in
about 100 to 110 regrees.... Guess that l now need to get a
new knotmeter so that l can keep my speed
up............................ Thanks for the good wind....

Quite a few boats were out sailing but only 4 boats had
entered .... The weather could not have been better.....
Temperature in the 80s, smooth water, steady wind and
moonlight too... E .J. Tews had the winning
performance... 1.108% and gets the $8.00 pot.... Bob Ingle was
#2 and had 1.121%f.... Gus was third at 1.225%.... and Craig
Rowland was 4th at 1.402%.... Fast Forward had the fast time
of 117 min and Tews had the long time of 158.2min....
The Aguirre's were out sailing with a boat load of guests and
John Wroble was exercising his Cal-33.... Jon said he had a
horrendous override on his Genoa winch and sailing solo
he considered cutting the line but didn't have to do that....
The sailing reminded me of sailing in the Sir Francis Drake
channel, except for the color of the water .... Brown vs
Blue-Green......You should have been there !!!!

The
evening began with a nice breeze that had every indication of
getting really good with all the towering cumulus clouds all
around the lake...cSpencer Farrington took off with his son as
crew and looked like the J-27 was moving very well....cFast
Forward milled around a bit waiting for Happy Ours to come out
and accept the challenge...cl had put on 170% genoa and Bob
Ingle went down the dock and convinced them to put up a 165%
genoa.... Somewhere in there the Aguirre bunch snuck in and
got over in the middle of the lake and headed for the Estes Pt
which Spencer had long since rounded..... We got tired of
"milling" and headed to the Pt..... Finally
Ralph Hewitt, with a crew of two came out looking like another
challenger (he sailed solo last week under just a genoa)....
The wind died and we three boats flopped our ways to the
Pt in about an hour plus..... I think it was due to the
proximity of Mars to the Earth and the gravitational pull of
this cosmic event took the wind with it...... Fast Forward had
visions of Steaks and Martini's and put the BUKH (thats my
diesel) to work for a fast ride back to the docks..... Happy
Ours never did show up ....guess they retired to the Oasis for
a happy hour..... Spencer may still be out
there................... Thanks for all getting out
there............ No Race...... GUS

Four boats signed up and the weather was balmy and the wind
was mild.....Gus' boat (Fast Forward) had the quick time of
124.5 min followed by Steve Raye (Starlight Express) at 125.5
min.... E J Tews (Jennifer Lea) finished in 146.6 min
for third fastest...... Dan Brown (Joy Ride) must have lost
his concentration as he ended up as DNF............. E J Tews
sailed w/o a tgt time due to my oversight, and after reviewing
all of the prior recorded race data he should have had an
"adjusted tgt time" of 137 min.... Which when
coupled with his 146.6 min act time he gets a 1.07%
performance and wins the pot of $8.00........ Steve Raye
sailed a 1.090% of target, and Gus game in last at 1.30% of
target.... Dan Brown recorded a DNF............ EJ Tews will
have a new Tgt time of 142.8 min based on his 3 best
races.............. Sorry that this took so long but George
was recovering from disc surgery... Jon hurt his back pulling
Wake boards and couldn't get out of bed for a few days... Gus
was under the spell of an infection... Gail was able to assist
us and Julia.... THANKS Gail............... Hope to see you
all on Wed 27 August for race #21 ... (27th is the closest
Mars will ever get to YOU - Better be there to see it in the
Western Quadrant or you will miss seeing it next
time)................... GUS

The race either got "blown
out" or "rained out " depending on your point
of view... Fast Forward took off with some trepidation and was
closing slightly on Happy Ours but Spencer was near us
and, sailing alone in his J-27, was having trouble getting his
sails up... So for a moment or two there were 3 sails in the
water headed east toward Estes Pt....... While watching Happy
Ours struggle to stand up and not broach, l elected to roll up
the genoa, and after a total sail of about 15min l said
the heck lets go back..... Spencer asked if we had heard
thunder, and we had, we said yes and he too headed back......
Looking back over our shoulder we could see the San Juan
heading south at a great clip..... l said to Gail that the
"gung ho" crew would not back down... they were
playing "chicken" with each other..... Bob Ingle's
e-mail of Thursday said it all..... with all the rain that
they sailed through Bob should have shrunk a size or two....
but l heard that he must have been sanforized 'cuz he looked
the same after they got back to the dock..... Encanto with a
crew of 4-5 took off for a sail as we were walking off the
dock.... Queeny said l should have issued a
"no-race" e-mail.... but when Gail and l took off it
looked promising for a dry but fast sail...... Thanks to the
boats and crew that came out to play..... GUS

Five boats were signed up and
they were all observed out on the water.... The pot contained
$10.00 last night, and $3.00 this morning.... Ordinarily one
might assume that 6.5 boats were racing ...
BUT.....Buckley said he put in $10.00 and took out $6.00, and
Jim Monroe said he owed $2.00 ... but this am where did the
$3.00 come from.???... This is the kind of problem that is not
covered in the sailing rule book... The solution l find most
acceptable is WINNER TAKES ALL.......
Gus started first followed by
Bob Ingle at a safe distance of about 300 yds..... This
interval held the length of the lake and half way back up....
Bob was pointing tight and Fast Foward was not able to match
it and had to tack back out toward the middle of the lake
whereupon the 300 yd interval stayed the same but now Gus was
following Bob...... In order to pick up some distance on Bob,
Gus cut the corner at Estes Pt. and proved that his boat could
sail in water more shallow than the advertised 5 ft. draft...
Good thing that we were heeling 'cuz the depth gage said 4.5
ft then 4.2 ft.... We did feel the slowdown and l looked back
and saw some mud boiling up.... We were all puckered-up, to
coin a phrase....
Saw Buckley and the
Hewitt sailing south, plus Encanto dallying around out in the
middle..... Fast Foward must have been embarrassed at the
Point since she started to gain on Bob and by the time we were
at the swimming beach area the gap between us was about 2 -3
boat lengths...and that was the way we finished.............
That was right after Monroe yelled that he was $2.00
light................ lngle finished in 125 min, Gus had
128min, Hewitt had 152min, Buckley had 194min and Monroe had
216min.......... However lngle's % was 1.25,.... Gus was
second at 1.34%.... Monroe was 3rd @ 1.44%....Hewitt was
fourth @ 1.62% ...and Buckley was last @1.69%..... Bob
wins the 6.5 boat POT and the $13.00.... Thanks for a nice
breeze that made the 102 degree heat bearable....GUS

At a little after 5pm Bob Ingle and l departed the starting
line , he said slowly.... Amazing
Grace drifted faster than Fast Forward and beat us around the
point by a bunch.... As
we rounded, l
looked back and saw 3 more sails leaving the marina and trying
to keep their sails full to look as though they were
sailing...... They
were Encanto (Aguirre),
Starlight Express (Steve
Raye),
and Happy Ours (Keith
Ford).......
It
was now about 6pm and a breeze started to come in from the
N.E. and was whitecapping by the time we got to the turning
mark at the south bridge..... Heading
north we met Mario/Esther /Dan Brown heading south, who turned
Encanto in between Bob and l and chased us to the finish
line.... Keith
had better wind at his start as he left later than we did, and
he had great wind at his finish due to the threatening
weather, (he
must have sailed pretty good too).......
Keith's
time of 118min beat Bob's time of 129min and my time of
128min.... Keith's
tgt time
=
97.2...
Bob's
=
99.9min...
Gus's
=
95.5min................
GOOD
RACE....Mario and Steve both were DNE..... The
$6.00 pot goes to Happy Ours..................Thanks,

July 23 results:
Last nite's race was apparently sailed by 4.5 boats as the
$9.00 pot was won by Bob lngle....
Bob,
with
a tgt.time of 99.9min covered the course in 127min for a %
=1.27....
Cam
Marcus,
who
has a lower tgt.time (91.6min)
sailed the race in less time
(124min)
than Bob but was 1.35 % of his target.....
Ralph
Hewitt sailed in 147.3min vs a tgt time of 93.5 min for a
1.57% performance....
Jim
Atkinson sailed but had a DNF.....
Forest
Atkins ??? l think sailed Mithrander and also had a DNF....
Based
on the sign in sheet l guess the wind was "sad" or
lousey......
FAST FORWARD now has a
"re-bearinged"
diesel
lying on the cabin sole....
If
Jon and l can get it poked through the hole in the bottom of
the boat tonight, l should be able to have it operating this
weekend....
Then
you may expect to see me on the lake for next Wednesday's
"Lo-Stress"...................................GUS
July 16 results:
l forgot to remind everyone that last weeks
"Pot", which
Encanto won, also
contained the $6.00 carryover from the week before.....
Yesterday's
race was close.... The
winning performance was .99%, followed by Craig Rowland
at 1.006%, Ralph Hewitt at 1.008%,
Mario Aguirre at 1.011%, Jim Atkinson at 1.028%, and
Hudson's "Genevieve" at 1.056%.... indicating
that each boat was operating within about 5% of their target
times.....
Bob Ingle won the $16.00
and also had the fast time....
Railey
in his Capri-22 had not raced lo-stress before and did not
have a "tgt.time", but will have a 99min tgt for the
next race.... Steve
Raye did not show a finish time but would have to better
114min to beat Bob Ingle.....
l can't believe that each
boat did so well against their "Tgt Times".....
all
boats must have had good and steady
wind..........................Thanks, GUS
July 9 results:
The fastest lap time was recorded by Cam Marcus at 100 min
(1.092%) but the fastest performance was ENCANTO with 110 min
at 1.072% and they win the pot.... There were 7 boats signed
in but only $12.00 in the can.... Monroe failed to enter a
finish time, but he would win if his time were 172 min or
better........ Jim Atkinson was the slow boat at 173 min....
Since he "slips" next to Fast Forward, my slow times
must be infectious to his 30ft Catalina and are all
bad........ Encanto must have left the dock when the breeze
was fresh, since they must have been flying... Jay Blass was
out practicing in his Colgate 26 at 2pm and looked to be fast,
guess he used up all the fast trim (1.593%)........ Ralph
Hewitt 's new cabin sole must be heavy... He was SLOW... Jim
Monroe may still be out there somewhere... Has any one seen
him lately ????......................THANKS..........GUS

Sorry that the wind gods were not cooperative and that the
race ended up in "Dead Heat" to coin a phrase!!
Three boats, "Amazing Grace", "Starlight
Express", and "Alchemy" all took off with good
intentions, only to be out done by the lack of wind... All the
boats ended up as D.N.F...... The $6.00 pot will be carried
over to the next week, if that is acceptable to the 3
contenders.... Thanks for trying!!!!

have the boat operational again

$10.00
was in the "Pot" and Keith Ford's repaired
engine-transmission must be fixed 'cause he won !!!
But not by much !!! Dan Brown was second and he
would have won if he had sailed 3% faster....
Last
week "they" were accused of "hooting and
hollerin" but this week "they" must have been
concentrating on speed.............. .. Keith sailed the
course in 108min....=
1.111% .......... Dan:
135.5min = 1.148%
Craig Rowland:
117min = 1.155%
Cam Marcus:
110min = 1.201 %
Jim Monroe would have won if his time was better than 167min.
(what
was your time Jim?)
At about 5pm Julia and l were driving down toward the south
bridge and saw 4 boats approaching Estes point, and "Just
Crusin"
leaving
the marina under full sail...
One
tall mast was seen having rounded the point, and a "Sport
type boat" had just turned at the bridge and was headed
north..... 5
racers out of 7 sails is pretty good, about average for our
Lo-Stress game..............

Bob Ingle provided the
missing times, and strangely enough, Bob Ingle won the $8.00
pot with a performance of 1.73%with a time of 173min...
Cam used up 176 min and had a performance of 1.92%... Craig
sailed 194 min and his performance was 191%..... As nice as
the evening was the wind left much to be desired as witnessed
by the long elapsed times.... Encanto must have pulled over to
sip some cool ones as they must have said the heck with it and
settled for a DNF..... Thanks for showing up to sail.... My

Five boats took off in what seemed like a nice breeze.... The
winning boat, Chris Bame's boat "Soul Shine" was
second to Bob Ingle's "Amazon Grace" in elapsed time
but corrected to 1.038% vs Bob's 1.071%..... Chris gets the
$10.00 pot. ." Encanto " sailed to
1.142% for 3rd place, and Glyn Buckley's " Summer
Breeze" was 4th at 1.31% and Craig Rowland in" Wind
Dancer " was either last or next to last... His time was
recorded as 158 which computes to 1.55%... or if his time was
1hr. 58min he would have gotten 1.165% .... The wind must have
let up some by the end of the race as the time for Buckley was
rather long compared to the others.... Sorry that l could not
participate ...as you may know l am in the Diesel repair
business again to replace the main bearings on the
crankshaft... If you don't have an audible alarm system on
your engine in addition to a pressure gage "it could

cockpit floor and not often looked at....It leaked and the
loss of oil pressure did me in...... "Greasey Gus"

5 Boats signed up to race, and with a fresh breeze blowing
"Devil Dog," Mark Geising's Melges 24, crossed the
line first with a full spinaker pulling hard.... "Amazing
Grace" the SJ-24 of Bob Ingle's was also moving fast and
was either 2nd or 3rd over the line....... However, these two
boats did not enter and therefore Buckley's Cat-22 won the
gold.... The "Handicapper" gave Buckley's boat too
high a target time and with the wind close to whitecapping,
his time of 1:57 gave him the winning 85% of target...... Cam
Marcus sailed his S2-7.9 exactly to his target time and had
100% performance, but to no avail.... Craig Rowland sailed his
Cat-28 to 5% over his target and the Aguirre's sailed their
Cat-28 to 10% over target............ Since we had 3 DNFs last
week due to the dying wind, there was a $6.00 carryover in the
coffee can ... Total prize was $16.00 to Buckley. Fast Forward
chose not to sail after having so much fun being blown down
the channel between G-dock and F-dock... Fortunately Mark
Bryan and at least 3 others were there to "fend me
off".... Got towed out into the lake by a JET SKI----- Oh
the Embarrassment of it all!!! I didn't break any outboard
motors but probably left some paint on their props.... If l
did let me know! I must get my Diesel working again!!!!
Thanks for the turn out....GUS

The wind gods were not
paying attention.... Ralph Hewitt was already around the point
when l got there... Dan Brown was by the swimming beach and l
took off in a windless environment..... By the time I got
across the start line Dan was getting close to the point but
looked to be closer to the dam..... Fast Forward never got
more than 100 or 200 yards from the start line when we found
we could sail better with the genoa furled and the main
generally trying to look like a sail, as we limped back into
the docks..... As we were securing the boat l saw a sail
coming around the point and l think it was Bob Ingle.... I
logged in at the clip board - DNF.... Next morning l checked
and found both Dan and Ralph had also logged DNFs...
The next Wed race will have a $6.00 carryover in the pot....

The wind was great and the weather never did get looking too
bad......... The early starters got the fast times due to the
better wind, although the wind never did die out............

6 boats signed up and the
earlier starters had the best performance. Like
last week, the wind reduced in strength as the sun was setting
in the west. Dan Brown with 111.2 minutes time took the $12.00
first place with a target performance of 91.37%. A
new target time of 118 min has been awarded. Bob Ingle was
second at 99 minutes for a 96.5% performance. His new target
time will be 99.9minutes. Third was Ralph Hewitt at 93.2 min
which was 98% of his target. Ralph's new target time is 93.7
minutes. Farrington in his J-27 was seen sailing north from
the bridge with only his mainsail up. He still had a time of
96.3 min which was 8 % above his target. Gustafson in Fast
Forward, with Gail, Jon, George and 2 grand daughters on board
finished in 103 minutes for 112% performance. Buckley in his
Catalina 22 didn't sail very fast so he ended up at 149
minutes elapsed time. However his target time will be raised
since this was only his 3rd Lo-Stress race. Bill Thomas in his
San Juan-34 was seen headed to the bridge but he did not sign
up. It was another memorable evening with nice wind and great
temperatures...........GUS
April 9 Results:
The first race of 2003 was conducted with 6 boats and
strangely 2 boats tied for first and 2 boats tied for second
place. Mario and Esther were the first boat to start and in 18
minutes they had rounded Estes Point. Then Spencer Farrington
in his J-27 started and the wind must have been
favorable 'cause they shared first Prize at 1.23% of their
target times. Spencer gets $6.00 and Esther gets $3.00 and
Mario gets $3.00. Spencer's time was 109 minutes. Fast Forward
started third and tied with Keith Ford in his Happy Ours at
1.26% of their target times. Ralph Hewitt, sailing with a paid
crew, had a performance of 1.38% at 131 minutes and took 3rd
place. Bob Ingle was last seen trying to get back to the dock
while sitting in a glassy part of the lake and had no time
recorded. The wind died as the daylight faded but the
temperature was great and it was good to get sailing again...
