April 25 results:
TnT, supported by a couple of professionals (Phil Philipp and Mark Bryan) was able in the lite wind to fly a spinnaker all the way to Estes Pt and then from the turning buoy's back to the finish line in the minimum time of 2.65 hrs..and take the corrected time honors too...That was the good news..... the bad news is that Big Bad Bob took 2nd place corrected time and will have another 5% reduction of his PHRF....So TnT sails with a 151 and Bob
sails with a 195   >>>>Keith Ford in his SJ-28 came in 3rd ...Cam, with a spinnaker (he said he fell into a hole  somewhere East of Eden) dragged in 4th. Gus in "not so fast foward '' was 5th ...The Encanto bunch came in 6th corrected ...and Ralph Hewitt was the last recorded boat in 7th position...Andy Shanks finished in 3 hours and 4 min. but used "Swedish Oars" to beat the Moon Set.. I thought that l counted another boat with a 4-  sail no. that may have been Kevin or Spencer????  Great nite for a casual sail!!!!  $20.00 goes to the Guinn's (minus their cost for the Professional's)  It's taxable for 2001 lRS purposes.   Gus

Wed nite in a blustery evening , two boats took off and set a new elapsed time course record of 1hr and 14 min....The weather channel said that the wind was 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 32.... However; Keith Ford and his brother Larry, one sailing his SJ-28 and the other in his Beneteau 28.5 went around the course side by side since Keith beat Larry by 12 sec  and it looked like a boat length apart at the finish line...But Larry won on corrected time by 21.6 sec...and gets to keep the entire "pot"    of $4.00 This had to be the best wind for the Lo Stress racing since of the 25 races completed these two boats both ran 74 min races {old min time was 80 min}  Keith's corrected time was 65.80 min and Larry's was 65.44. Great race...too bad we weren't able to field more boats...                   GUS

May 9 results:
Twelve boats raced and $24.00 plus one "el cheepo " cigar was in the pot... Mark Bryan was concerned that I was assigning his PHRF to his boat and other people sailing his boat would be at a disadvantage...Big Joke...Wagner, Marks  hired "cigar salesman " using a spinnaker took first place on corrected time   and further reduced Mithrander's handicap to 130...(2 first places + 1 second    ===25% reduction)  Bob Ingle's Amazing Grace took 2nd  and his numbers are now 185 ..(1 first +2  second's ===15% reduction)..... Chris Bame was 3rd in a SJ 26... Bill Kerr was 4th in Avion.... Encanto came in 5th  again.... Gus in fast foward ,with George calling the shifts wrong and etc etc (with a spinnaker yet) came in 6th..... Cam also with a spinnaker was 7th.... Dan Brown in Joy Ride was 8th ....Dick Jaffre was 9th... S Morris in a Lugar 26 was next followed by Bradford in the MacGregger 25..... Larry, in his last week's winning boat was too embarrassed to
record a finish time....... Jay Cox in his Hunter and Frank Pechacek in his Newport "Breezin" were also seen out among the fleet but did not sign up... also Brian was out in the mix... but not registered....   Cam still doesn't know that the start /finish line is between the breakwater and the ADJACENT buoy......Weather was outstanding!!!! Wind light to sad!!!   An enjoyable nite to sail without a hint of stress.....       GUS

May 16 results:
Wed 16 May was raced in big wind....Made for big boats !!!   Bob Ingle took off first followed by Bill Thomas in his 34ft San Juan (Rapture)...Gus followed with great expectations for victory, only to watch Rapture claw into the 20mph breezes (with gusts to 26) and pass Amazing Grace before the turning mark.....Bob and Gus both flew spinnakers in a challenging wind but Bill Thomas, with a full main and jib walked away from us both and had the
minimum elapsed time of 72.25 min (a new min time record without spinnaker)....Cam Marcus, in his jet propelled S-2 7.9, had the 2nd lowest elapsed time of 73.96 min (with spinnaker) and took 1st place corrected time.....Cam's new PHRF is 151 and Bill's is 128 since he took 2nd place corrected time...Gus, sailed with 2 son's and two other men as ballast and had 3rd best act. time of 74.77 which corrected to 4th..... Mark Bryan was 4th
act and corrected to 6th..... Robert Lee in his J22 was 5th and corrected to 5th..... The Aguirres in Encanto were 6th but corrected to 3rd place.... Bill Kerr entered but did not compete, Marina probably asked WHY???..... Ralph Hewitt said it all ------"Wife said no".... I think he meant it with respect to sailing in the whitecaps ?????........ Bob Ingle sailed with a spinnaker with Mark Gising as crew  but did not sign in or compete.... Cam Marcus gets the $14.00 pot but no cigar................NOTE.... I think a rule change is in order...Let's limit the PHRF reduction to a cumulative  25%...(Mithrandir is currently at -25% and Amazing Grace is at -15%)................ It was great to see so many boats out there fighting the gusts and shifts not to mention the whitecaps ......GUS

May 23 results:
Twelve boats participated with 92 degree temp.,cloudless sky,12 -
16 mph winds ...Cam and Bill Thomas flew spinnakers and maybe others...Bob Ingle flew 2 jibs and Gus flew a 105% jib and a reefed main to the turning buoy..One comic sight was Cam Marcus ,with a high flying spinnaker ,trying to reach past the swimming beach, trying not to have his boat look like a "Mushroom Cloud"...However , since Cam was sailing solo it's a case of "No guts no glory"! .....Dan Brown "cut the starting line " and went between the 2 Buoys which gets him a "flag I "He got his reward by getting last on corrected time, Bryan only beat him by 47 seconds...GOOD NEWS  Encanto gets 1st place on corrected time { 9th to finish }and wins the "pot"...Bad news is that 3 boats did not put their $2.00 into the "pot"....Chuck Jacobus  had the "quickest" finish time and got 2nd on corrected time...Mario's new PHRF will be 270 and Chuck will get 91 if he didn't use a spinnaker and it will be 87 if he did .......Rapture (Thomas) was 2nd fastest ...corrected to 5th.........Rag Doll (Marcus) 3rd fastest .../corr. 4th........Fast Foward (Gustafson) 4th / corr...8th ........Mitherandir (Bryan) 5th./corr...11th.......TnT (Guinn) 6th../corr 9th.....Amazing Grace (Ingle) 7th../ corr..6th ...J-22 (Lee) 8th. / corr.10th ...Cat.22 (Farrington) 10th./corr.3rd ..... Joy Ride (Dan Brown) 11th../corr. 12th..... Mania (Hewitt) was 12th time to finish and corrected to 7th......... NOTE:  When l left the dock there were 9 boats "signed in" and l took the "pot" home with me...This morning there were 3 more names on the sheet, so l presume that Ingle, Jacobus, and Thomas had no "pot" to put the $$$$ in....Next time l will leave the can and only take the "pot"...GUS
       (I have  $18.00 should have been $24.00)

Butch gets a new PHRF of 131 and Farrington gets a new one of 257 .......... A few other boats were out but they elected to not participate .....  The  "POT"  was $10.00 and goes to Butch .. June 27 results:
The evening began with " no wind " at 4pm, picking up to " some
wind at 5:30 and "white caps" by 8pm.... 7 boats recorded elapsed times.... Gus started first and corrected to last position..... But what really "stinks" is that ENCANTO beat FAST FOWARD by 52sec elapsed time!!!!! Three of the first 4 boats flew spinnakers... Cam sailed slower than his 2 previous times with spinnaker (his two female assistants may have been a
distraction) ....... Jaffre's time was slow also..... Gus's time was his best with jib indicating that the earlier starters benefitted from better winds.... A bunch more boats were also out there enjoying the evening........... GUS

July 18 results:
Although 10 boats signed up it seemed that there were a lot more boats out making waves.... As a matter of fact Matt and Chuck Jacobus were match racing side-by-side nearly all the way....... Both boats appeared to have 5 man crews to keep the boats flat in the brisk winds...... Before turning south at Estes Point, "Trick Monkey" appeared to have a 8 to 10 length lead  but at the
finish line Matt was only 1 length ahead.... Jacobus was not signed in so Matt, even with a PHRF no of 90, took the $20.00 pot in 64.5 min. and the next time gets a PHRF no of 91...... The Gustafson boat (Gus, Julia, Gail, Lars, Jon,-*-, and Julie) came in 2nd at 76.6 min and corrected to 5th place...... -*-footnote: George was "Shanghied " by the "el cheepo" factory rep. Like 48 sec difference) ..... Gus, in spite of sailing with a short handed crew, sailed his 3rd fastest time, but corrected to 5th place...... The
Rowland's "first Lo Stress race" gave them a 6th on corrected time....... Bain corrected to 7th and Morris corrected to 8th position..... Jaffre and the Guinns did not record any finish times...... GREAT   SAILING....2 Melges and 2 Cat 28's finishing within a split second of each other....... Is this the
first Cat28 - FLEET 5 competition???????     Gus

July 25 results:
Wednesday's race brought out some interesting facts....Two Melges-24's raced again and completed the course using spinnakers in about 69 min., however a RED  J-22 (Lone Star) finished the course in a recorded time of 65 min........ This either suggests a timing error or a technogical breakthrough since the PHRF no's are 90 vs 177..... It is presumed that "Lone Star" flew at least one spinnaker..... Another interesting fact is that "Queenie" and her consort beat "Fast Foward" again on corrected time..... Despite the speed of Keith Ford he sailed faster in race #5 and Jaffre's fast time was even lower in race #13........... The J-22 (using either 65 or 75 min) corrected to first place and gets the $18.00 pot............... Jacobus coorrected to 2nd....... Mayo finished 3rd and corrected to 6th......... Jaffre finished 4th and corrected to 3rd....... Keith Ford finished 5th and corr. to 5th....... Gus finished in 6th and corr.to 8th........ Farrington finished 7th and corr. to 4th....... Aguirre's finished 8th and corr. to 7th..... Gene Bain finished and corrected 9th.......... Morris finished and corrected to 10th......... The J-22 goes with 159 rating next time....... GUS

August 1 results:
Seven boats entered in a light to moderate breeze and a near full moon Too!!!... Bain in his Capri 22 entered and raced but Chris Bame an his San Juan 26 entered but did not record a finish time,....... Now l understand my confusion of a Bain/Bame owning two different boats and racing them as the desire dictated...... My appologies to you both.!!!!..... All seven boats corrected in the same order of their finish times..., which has not happened before in the two "low stress" series........ Mark Bryan finished in 91.7 min and retains his "min"PHRF of 131........ Martin, in his red J-22 ,finished 2nd and gets a 10% reduction in his PHRF to 142........Ingle finished 3rd and keeps his 173 rating .......The Aguirre's finished in 4th (255 rating)....... Bain was 5th and Morris was 6th in his Luger 26........ These last three boats apparently suffered in a dying breeze.......... Tom and Dee Meyer sailed in
their Cal 28  (174 rating) and said that they were able to keep up with some of the boats ... but they did not enter the race!!!!  What must we do to convince them to enter  ??????  Martin wins the "pot " of $14.00 and it is "two - in - a- row"  for him !!!!!          Good going !!!!          GUS

Correction:
The "POT" goes to Mithrandir !!!...Martin took 2nd place on actual time and due to the late arrival of Chris Bame's time ,Chris gets 2nd and Martin corrected to 3rd.... Ingle gets 4th,Mario gets
5th,Bain gets 6th  and Morris is in 7th..... Sorry for the goof up... I'll blame it on not remembering that l had received the late finish  time when I released the results.......Gus               The record book will be corrected accordingly...

August 8 results:
Last nite 10 boats signed up to race and led by Spencer Farrington and then Bob Ingle  followed by Matt Mayo and Gus and the Aguirres ... Bob announced that the "Twin Turning Bouys"  around which we all turn were missing. Some of us tried to imagine where they used to be located, and some said
"what the heck" and we all headed back to the area near the Marina and enjoyed the evening sail...... Needless to say the times recorded will be "shrouded in question"..... I recommend that the $20.00  Pot be turned in to the LCYC General Fund!!! If this is not acceptable to anyone please let me know and l will return your $2.00....... For Race # 20, if the twin bouys are not replaced, the Bouys adjacent to the south bridge should be considered the proper turning mark..... The bouys at the two ends should be avoided due to their proximity to the shallow water. .......Gus

August 15th results:
I counted 14 sails and we collected $25.00 in the "pot"... Thirteen boats signed in with finish times for the round trip to the bridge and back...{   The TRA was not involved in the removal of the twin bouy's .... Bob McM. thought that the Corp's of Enginners  was involved...He said he would check it out further..} The new course is 1.72 nautical miles longer than the old course and thus the elapsed times should be approx.25% longer .... ie.6.8mi .vs 8.5 mi......Matt Mayo had the fastest time of 89.9 min and the corrected time of 92.61min.and gets the "pot".   plus a new PHRF of 73.....    Jacobus was second at 100 min and corrected to 3rd place.... Jaffre was 114.25 min which corrected to 4th place.......... Big ole' Bob came in at 121.15 and corrected to 7th.....Hewitt came in at 125.3 which gave him 2nd place and a new rating of 257......... Dan Brown listed 125.5 and corrected to 6th place.....  Farrington at 129.1 took 5th place.....Steve Raye
(Starlite Express) at 130.4 took 9th position..... Gus at 131.6min took 12th...I'd rather taken a 5th...... Keith Ford at 136 got 11th and the Aguirre's took 8th with a time of 139.7..... McCauley at 152,5 got a 10th and Morris (even with a #315) took 193.9min which corrected to 145.7 for the 13th and final position...... The wind .was a little "spooky" but it kept all of the boats moveing  and the temperature was very acceptable ....... It never did rain at my house.... Gus

August 15th results:
Great evening to sail,,Brisk winds and fairly steady in direction too... 12 boats signed up.... Of course the two "Gold Dust Twins" (they are always taking the gold) came in 1 and 2 and corrected in that sequence too, with Jacobus beating Mayo by less than a min. at 82 min vs. 82.9 min. and taking the $22.00 POT..... Bill Thomas in his San Juan 34 finished in the 3rd position at 98.85 min. and corrected to 4th... Hewitt took 3rd with a 115 min time as the 6th finisher....... The Aguirres finished 8th and corrected to 7th..... Bain was the 9th finisher according to the clock ,but he claims that after running aground down by the west end of the bridge and dropping his sails and running his engine (Swedish
Oars) he disqualified himself....... Morris was the latest entry and corrected to 9th without Bain  dropping out.... Jap Jones said "only GOD knows his time" so l think that the LCYC should buy Jap a cheep watch....... Bill Kerr said his time was "Too Quick" to record so maybe we could get Bill a Sea Anchor to better control his boat speed...... NEW SUBJECT......... Do not forget that the Lo Stress race # 22 and race # 23 will be run this Sat as part of the Leukemia Mini Regatta>>>> First race at 10:30 am and 2nd race after lunch..... $30.00 is the minimum entry fee...... Food on the Dock........... Poppa Gus....

Steve Raye took 152.6 to cross.... followed by the Aguirres at 168min..... Gene Bain took 175 min and Dan Brown had 180.3 min.... After a break for lunch the wind began to die and only 3 boats posted finish times. The others chose to go DNF...... Jacobus had 108.3 min, McConnel had 148.2 min and Raye recorded 255.3 min..... Chris Bame finished in 108.66 min and corrected to the 4th place.....Two boats did not record times.... The wind must have been pretty good since the 95min time of Mark's without spinnaker is pretty close to the Melges 24 times of Jacobus and Mayo's  82 and 82.9 min with spinnakers. ......The $15.00 POT goes to Spencer Farrington in his Catalina 22 that nearly beat the time of the Wave Length 24 of Seth's. .......GUS

There were 6 boats out trying to look like they were sailing fast , but the wind was not very helpful... The only thing that broke the surface were faint wind Shadows... 4 of the boats put money in the POT and and 3 of them had trip times of 3:41, 3:53, and 3:59 ..... (that's hours and seconds).   However, the Melges 24 of Chuck Jacobus, who was just leaving the starting line as l was finishing, had an elapsed time of 1:55:54 using his asymetrical spinnaker... There must have been a wind shift to allow him the use of the spinnaker both ways, or the wind speed picked up enough for him to sail the 8.5nm in half the time of the other 3 (jib only) lo stress racers.... Chuck won the $8.00 pot in a corrected time of 121.9 min .... Mario came in second with a corrected time of 192.2 min.... Chuck has an adjusted PHRF of 68 (which is a -25% reduction of the "Book Value") and in order to come in second to Mario his PHRF would have had to be a MINUS  157 ... which highlights the discrepancy in trying to race boats with wide differences in ratings on an even basis.... So as not to slight any one, Seth McConnell in his Wave Length 24 came in at 218 min corrected for last place... Mario's new rating will be 225 (-25%).  Congratulations Mario and Esther!!!!  Oh yes , Matt Mayo was in a race by himself Wednesday the 5th  since the threat of lightening and high winds caused the more meek to "no show".   He gets his $2.00 back..... Good sailing....GUS
-REVISION-
Seth McConnell woke up this morning and realized that he miss read his watch on Wednesday night... Instead of 3hr 59min 36 sec  the real time was 2 :59:36....... This means that Mario and Esther do not get their PHRF reduced. But Seth gets a new number of 154 for his Wave Length 24 because he took 2nd place .... Encanto gets 4th...... (note also that Chuck would have had to have a PHRF of -90 for Seth to win the race)...... I also reported that Matt sailed alone on Wed the 5th...   wrongo.... Seth was the intrepid sailor....  Matt does not get $2.00 but Chuck still gets the $8.00 pot. This reporting is getting stressful... GUS

September 19th results:
On Wed 19 Sept 2001, 8 boats signed up and 4 boats recorded their finish times.... The air was light to lousy.... Jacobus in his Melges 24 circled the course in 110.1 min and corrected to first place at 115.8 min.... Jaffre in his Cal 29 crossed in 144.2 min and corrected to 3rd with 130min.... Ralph Hewitt came over the line in 157.8 min and took second place with 129.3 min..... Mario and Esther took 206 min to cross and corrected to 169.5 min and fourth place.... Chuck wins the "pot" of $12.00 and Hewitt with a second place gets his PHRF reduced another 5% (Chuck already has a -25% reduction)...... Note to Chuck: The "pot" for race 25 is in your starboard sheet pocket.... In 7 races to the bridge and back your Melges 24 has averaged 104.1 min for the 8.5nm  which for you slow boats is an average speed of 5 knots....... Next year, to save him from high taxes we will change the rules..... No more PHRF..... Gus

September 26th results:
With moonlight, smooth water, and a balmy temperature, 9 boats were observed but only 6 signed up.... The 3 quickest were Jacobus at 93.5 min (jib) who corrected to 1st at 98.3 min followed by Teh at 127 min which corrected to 2nd, (102.2 min)   and Bill Thomas at 133.75 min (spinnaker) corrected to 3rd at 128.2 min....... Gus was next at 144min(corrected to 5th @ 140 min).  Then John Wrobel in his 33ft Cal came in at 156.2 min (corrected to 6th @ 143.8 min)...The Aguirre's finished in 169 min and corrected to 4th place at 139 min.... Teh gets his PHRF reduced from 258 to 245 as his reward for finishing in 2nd place.... Jacobus remains at 68 (-25%) for his PHRF.... The first 3or 4 boats began in light to no wind, which depended on where you were on the lake at a particular time. But it picked up some as the evening progressed... Chucks time of 93.5 min  was outstanding when compared to his previous times average of 104.1 min...  Chuck wins the $12..00 pot!!!!  Better all come out......... Not many races left!!!!!  Daylight savings is over after 4 more Wednesdays...... GUS

October 3rd results:
The wind began brisk, then by dark it had fallen off to a whisper.... However, the 7 boats that participated had a good sail and a fantastic sunset...... The full moon (2nd)  had not yet come up when I docked.....  Jacobus, sailing by himself and with jib alone, had the minimum time of 101.2 min. and corrected to 106.4 min for 3rd place..... Gus had the 2nd fast time of 118.6 min. and corrected to 115.9 min for last ..... Jaffre crossed the finish line with 121.3 min and the Aguirres crossed at 121.8 min... Encanto corrected to 2nd (100.2 min) and loses another 5 % to a min value of 225 PHRF (-25%) while Dick Jaffre corrected to 109.4 for the 4th position.... Teh and his Erickson 23 logged 135 min which corrected to 98min for 1st place and the $14.00 pot...... Teh gets a reduced rating to 233 PHRF for the next Lo Stress race.... Dan Brown in his new Cat.28 just cruised around for fun!!!   Chris Bain in his Capri 22 had a "no time" stop watch, and I think was a solo driver also....... Another great evening on the water!!!!   (just 3 more to go)..................... POPPA GUS

October 10th results:
Seven boats participated in very questionable weather...... The area was under a weather watch even though the sun was out when some of us started.... Wagner in his 21 ft. San Juan took off first, followed by the Aguirre's and the Gustafson's.  Then came Dan Brown in his "newish" Catalina 28... Next I saw Jaffre in his Cal 29 and Thomas in his San Juan 34 headed South with Teh in his 23ft. Erricson taking up the rear.... Fast Foward had a great sail down to the bridge following Wagner, who made the turn first... As we sailed north toward Estes Point, the wind chose to expire.... We were watching the lightening show to the north, wondering if we would make it home before all he?? broke loose!!! WHAMMO!!  We got hit with a 180 degree wind shift that laid my boat over on its "beam ends" (thats sailor talk for a big heel angle, like maybe 35 degrees)...... We then proceeded to roll up the jib and lower the main  which my stalwart crew nicely lashed down... I then got out the "Swedish Oars" and we motored back to the dock........ Wagner was already there and signed in... Teh came in and struggled to get his boat in the slip, and Thomas went by the line headed for the Restaurant....... Three boats recorded finish times and 3 got DNF....... Thomas was fast boat at 110.7min followed by Encanto at 151.8 min. and Wagner at 156 min .... The $12.00 pot goes to Thomas with the corrected time of  106 min. Wagner was second at 126.4 min and the Aguirre's had a time of 127.3 ... Thomas gets a 10% reduction and Wagner gets a 5 % decrease in their PHRF numbers..... Good and exciting sailing was the menu for last night....GUS

October 17th results:
The lake was white capping and the wind was shifty... Fast Foward took off at about 3:30pm because one crew member had an 8pm flight to Houston. We tacked once after rounding Estes Point and tacked again after getting near the bridge.... However the wake behind us looked like a snake had been there .... I let the wind determine our course and tried to keep the speed up, which seemed to sit between 6 and 7 knots all the way to the bridge... Came home with the 150% genoa poled out part of the way.... We had our best time ever for the 8.5 nm but it was only 3rd fastest for the evening.... Martin in his red J-22 finished in 85 min and corrected to 78.1 for first place... Jacobus had a 93.05 min time and corrected to 97.8 for 2nd.... Gus crossed in 101.7 min and took 3rd with a time of 99.4 min.... Jaffre had a time of 115.26 and tied for 4th place with a corrected time of 101.2 min.... Keith Ford was 5th in time at 116 min and corrected to 5th at 107.9 min.... Teh in his Erricson 23 finished 6th at 130 min and corrected to 101.2 to tie Jaffre for 4th place.... The Encanto bunch came in at 134.45 min and took 7th with 112.8 min... Bain in his Capri 22 had 135 min and corrected to 115.5 for 8th place...... Dan Brown was out testing his Cat-28 again but did not enter...... The "pot" goes to the red  J-22 "Lone Star" of Martin's..... THERE IS ONLY ONE MORE "LO -STRESS" RACE THIS YEAR....... Come on out and fly this coming Wednesday............. GUS

October 24th results:
The last "LoStress" race was enjoyed by 9 boats in "great" to "good" winds..... "Fast Foward," with 6 of the 7 Gustafson clan on board was first to start, followed by the Aguirres and Cam Marcus...... When we were docking Matt Mayo and Teh were just getting started...... You may recall that the participating boats in the first race last year each got a bottle of "El Cheepo" champaign. Well, those who sailed in the final race this year will also get a jug of "El Cheepo" (not to be confused with Bill Wagner's  "El Cheepo" cigars).......... Chuck Jacobus, sailing solo in his Melges 24 "Vectored Thrust," had the minimum time of 81.8 min and corrected to 1st. place with a time of 86.04 min... Mayo sailed his Melges 24 in 88.9 min and took 6th place with a corrected time of 93.5 min................. Martin van Wolfswinkel in his J-22 "Lone Star" took 98 min to finish in 2nd place at 91min................ Gus had 4th fastest time at 102.5 min and corrected to 100.7 for 7th place................ Cam Marcus finished in 107.3 min (HE RAN AGROUND at the "Jacobus Shallows" which ate up his speed advantage) and corrected to last place for 9th at 103.6 min............ The 6th finisher was Teh in his Erickson 23  at 110 min which gave him 3rd place at 91.3min.............. .......The Aguirres at 110.1 min. corrected to 4th place at 92.34 min................... Chris Bame crossed at 113.3 min and corrected to 93.14 for 5th place.................. Dan Brown in his "new" Cat-28 #366, racing it for the first time, had the longest time (122.5min) but still beat out  "o'le stick -in -the -mud" Marcus by correcting to 8th position at 102.74min................. It was a great night to sail the last of the Wed nite events.................... Jacobus gets the $18.00 pot.................. GUS
