Lynn Creek Yacht Club is based at Lynn Creek Marina, on the north fork of Joe Pool Lake. The marina is easily reached from anywhere in North Texas by taking Interstate 20 to Grand Prairie, midway between Dallas and Fort Worth. Take the Great Southwest Parkway exit heading south to Lake Ridge Parkway. Continue south until you see the marina on your left, approximately three miles south of the freeway.

Facilities include a spacious launch ramp, lighted docks, ship's store with snack bar and a full-service restaurant with bar. Motels and camping are available within easy driving distance of the marina.

One of the only lakes in Texas that drains to the north, Joe Pool Lake is a 7,400-acre impoundment with a 64 mile shoreline that serves as a reservoir for Midlothian.
